Treatment

For my Music Video I want it to be performance based, mainly concentrating on the relation of the song, lyrics and the video to each other.

My music video doesn't really have a clear story but it will be shown that the actor in the video is crazy, love struck, broken down and hurt. It will reflect the story of desperation for love, and reflect the genre of Alternative Indie.
For the start of my video it will show my actor led half on the floor and half on her bed broken down and feeling alone. It will consist of lots of short cuts of the character, because I want the audience to see the facial experiences of the actor.
When the lyrics read 'slowly, its taking over me' there will be three shots taken of the actor shaking their head in a crazy state like the pain and hurt is taking over her. This shows that the style of the video isn't like a normal music video it has an eerie and ominous feel to it, which I feel will give the 'indie' feel to it as it is different to other videos.
Within the Video I am going to get my actor to fall on to the bed from the right side and also from the left side, I will then merge these together so that the actor looks like a double and falls both sides at the same time, one shot that iIwill also include is a high angle shot of the actor falling onto the bed, giving the audience a sense of her facial expressions. This shows the eeriness of the video making the audience eager to know what is going to happen next in the video. Making the video intriguing and fascinating.
One main shot that I would like to include in my Music Video is slow motion, and possibly stop motion. For the stop motion I will use it on shots such as when the actor is crying, a slow motion shot of a single tear falling down her face will she of the deep emotion within. As well as a slow motion fall on to the bed and possibly a slow motion ripping of things that she had supposedly got from her lover, showing the anger that she has towards him and how hurt that she is from this break up. I believe that audiences could relate to this because heart-break and people breaking down are something that happens every day in a normal life.
